Contest Open: September 1, 2026 - October 14, 2026

What matters most about the environment where you live?

Show us through a photo.

We invite Philadelphia residents to take a photo that shows an environmental issue, concern, or strength in their neighborhood. Your photo can help us learn what matters most to people across Philadelphia.

Selected photos will be shared at a community meeting and photo exhibition in October, where community members can see the photos and vote for their favorites.

No photography experience is needed. First-time photographers are welcome!

About the Contest

Voices Through the Lens: Capturing Philadelphia’s Environmental Priorities is a photo contest for Philadelphia residents. We want to learn what environmental issues matter most to people in Philadelphia.

Your photo might show:

• A place that needs attention
• A problem in your neighborhood
• A place that makes your community healthier
• A change you would like to see
• Something that you think your neighbors should know about

There is no right or wrong answer. We want to see Philadelphia through your eyes.

The photos will help us better understand environmental concerns across Philadelphia neighborhoods and guide future community work.
